Outbreaks of heavy or thundery rain will affect parts of south Leinster and Munster tonight. Mostly dry elsewhere with variable amounts of cloud. Some areas of mist and fog will form in light to moderate northeasterly winds. Lowest temperatures 9 to 12 degrees.

Tomorrow

Cloudy and misty in the East and South at first on Friday with patchy rain and drizzle. Drier elsewhere with sunny spells with any mist or fog soon clearing. Brighter skies across the West and North will gradually extend into most areas later in the day. Highest temperatures of 14 to 20 degrees, best values inland during sunny afternoon spells. Northeasterly winds will be no more than moderate overland, fresher however along Atlantic fringes.
